A new voice on Pine Log: Each voice on pine log comes with its own unique sound and quality. I hear and enjoy many of them as I venture there as often as time and energy will allow. From sweet singing birds to the crow's raucous cawing. The voice of the beaver as he slams his tail down upon pine log.The sometimes soothing, sometimes haunting, voice of the wind, as it makes its way through the trees.Maybe the staccato rhythm of the woodpecker as he lets everyone know how busy he is.The new voice on pine log this morning made me stop where i stood and hope that it would repeat. This new voice on pine log was neither invasive nor intrusive. The sweet, pure, almost heavenly voice of the turtle dove caused all the other voices to fade away.Almost immediately i thought of King Solomon and his reaction to the same voice that i had just heard. As he stood there on the hillside, the voice that he heard moved him to write his immortal words in the book by his name "for,lo,the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle(dove)is heard in our land." How the weather looked at that moment,or how he felt at that moment, made no difference. For he had heard the signal voice, and that signal voice made him to know that the long winter cycle was coming to an end and he was filled with joy and encouraged.Looking forward to both natural and spiritual spring on pine log.For i have heard the voice of the turtle dove on pine log and the voice of "the Dove" in my heart.
